Summer Puppy Dog Life Jacket

What a great life jacket for Italian Greyhounds. He’s a little scared of it. I have a week to try it on him everyday before we go on a boat. I have tried several different lifejackets and this one doesn’t go over his privates so he can pee and attaches nicely and securely under his belly. It’s not so long down his back. It also has a great clip on his back for his leash. Because of their barrel chest others were too tight under the chest while too loose under the stomach. This is a great harness for different built pups that aren’t the same width all the way around down their backs.

Kuoser dog life jackets fit well for my dogs and are made really nice and sturdy. Dogs love it and are not restricted while in motion swimming. Flotation works as should. You can't go wrong if you want a quality life vest, this is the one.

Ok in the picture I did not see the camaflauge but I love it . I ordered the orange and it is well worth the money. It goes behind her front legs so it not restrict my golden from swimming. Now when the ducks tease her and she goes out too far I don’t have to worry about her drowning. Worth the money.

I really wanted this to work out. My new service dog will be coming home in 2 months and I want us to swim together this summer. I had a life vest for my last one and it was awesome. Unfortunately the design is flawed. There is Velcro for the part that connects under the chest. Unless it’s an exact fit the Velcro is exposed. This is advertised as a size range. Unless you have a very short haired dog this is not good!!! Fur will get stuck in it and cause pain and matting. I had to return even though I adore the way it looks. Sadly, it’s just not functional. I considered keeping it and removing that whole section but it’s a bit overpriced to need to be altered to be functional.

Good quality, dried quickly, good handle, love the metal D ring. The only thing I’d say is watch out for the length my girl has a long body and short legs so it ended up being a little shorter than I’d like but still covers her rib cage.

Gus is a mini Golden Doodle that weighs 15.9 pounds and this fits great. It has a lot of strong Velcro and adjustable straps. It can be adjusted to fit a heavier (or lighter) weight small dog. It’s very well made with strong material. Gus is ready to go boating and we are confident that this life jacket will keep him safe.

The company is very responsive to questions or concerns. Vest fits good and the handle on the back is great in case you need to grab your dog in a hurry.

The vest seems to be nice quality. I followed the size Chart recommendations when chest girth is between sizes. It said to go to next size up. Unfortunately this is huge on our dog. I need to exchange for a smaller size but I don't see an option to do so.

My lab loves water but doesn't know when to rest. This product makes me feel way better about her in the lake. I also love the strap in the back which I can use to maneuver her when necessary. The fit seemed perfect for her and it's also cute with a reflective element as well!

On the small size for sizing chart, Large still doesn't fit my dog even though shes only 20kg, so get a size bigger than you think
Only contains thin foam ~10mm so doesn't provide much buoyancy.

I returned this product simply because, for the,price, it was poorly made. It is very lightweight with poor quality Velcro straps. I purchased a better quality life jacket for a lot less money.

We are very comfortable letting our dog out into the water when he's wearing his vest. It fits him well. We measured him before we purchased and the vest is true to size

This life jacket is very well made. I bought this jacket and another brand about same price. My 90lbs lab got this one and my 45 lbs Mtn. Cur got the other. We went out two days in the lake. The way our pontoon boat is we have to lift both dogs into the boat.

I lifted my water logged 90lbs lab probably 20 times by the handle of this vest and it held up perfectly. No popped stitches and the way it distributed weight for my dog seemed to keep him comfortable as he was being craned up. Additionally when you hoist them up by the handle it puts a lot of pressure on the buckles but they held up great.

That’s where the other brand failed on the third pull. The buckles popped and would not longer stay connected. I’m buying a second one of these for my other dog now.

Fit and finish is great, price is great and lots of colors.

I got this for my Great Dane. It gets the jobs done since he is nervous around water and doesn't get in a ton. How ever the sizing could be better and I wish there was a chin float strap.

We actually ordered from a few different brands, but sent the others back because we loved these immediately. Our labs are full grown but definitely not shaped the same. The vests fit them very well. We liked that the vests weren’t as long as the other brands we tried, and that our dogs have free range of motion of their front shoulders when strapped in. The straps are sturdy, but easy to adjust.
Will be taking our dogs on their first pontoon ride on an alpine lake. We’re glad to have the vests to help provide them extra protection and support.

haven't had a chance to use in the water. The vest itself looks great and fits great. checked all the sewing places and they look secure. Can't wait to try it.

Very well made! After measuring my 6-month-old Lab mix, I ordered an XL. It fits great now with space to grow. It gave him the boost of confidence he was lacking in the pool, and he's now lake-ready.

Let me start with this: my dog is oddly shaped. I know she is oddly shaped. Off the rack items rarely fit her perfectly. She is GSP/Lab: deep chest, high waist, but long and tall.

That being said, I am happy with this life jacket for her. She is 11 years old and doesn't necessarily "need" it yet, but I am getting her ready in advance. We compete in dock diving and I noticed my older, 14 year old, full lab gained a ton of confidence back in a life jacket. So I started getting this dog used to one. She doesn't even seem to realize she's wearing it on both our home deck and a competition rig. We will be trying it in the ocean as well in August 2024.

So, I tried 2 sizes on her and there is a BIG difference when you size up. When the jacket is too long, the dog can't bend its middle correctly. I kept the smaller size and made some slight alterations to make it just a little bit better for her. I added velcro to the soft side of the belly band so there is a larger velcro on velcro area. I also replaced the strapping on the chest piece with a bit that is slightly longer.

The only change that wasn't due to her weird build was this: I added bias tape around the edges of the belly band where the hard velcro is. The edges of the velcro are very hard.... sewing on a bit of bias tape does not affect the functionality of the velcro, but covers the very uncomfortable edges. This is why I dropped a star.

I hope this jacket holds up! My dog seems confident in it and I don't foresee a problem when the time comes that she needs a little support in both competition and leisure swimming.

Got one of these for each of my dogs and they are really well-made and work great. I felt like they may run slightly big even though I consulted the size chart but they still work great! They are adjustable, the fabric and colors are true to what's advertised! I highly recommend them!

I have a 1yo golden retreiver. 75-80lbs roughly. He is a great swimmer without this lift jacket, but he loves to swim with his humans and is often over his head, this helps him tremendously with not having to paddle as hard to keep him afloat, and helps us hold him in our arms when he needs a break.

Small trick. With longer hair dogs, get them wet first before putting it on. The velcro won't stick if their hair is in the way.

I got him the large. I will be ordering the XL as well because he will still grow a little bit by the time he gets to age 2.

So far it's easy to use, durable, the color (orange) is bright and can be seen easily in and out of the water. Not very easy to adjust but once you're fit you shouldn't need to adjust.

I purchased this life jacket for my dog a year ago, and have used it several times, and overall, I'm very impressed with its quality and performance, using durable materials that seem built to last. It fits my girl perfectly, providing buoyancy and safety without restricting her movement in the water.

The jacket is easy to put on and take off, with adjustable straps that ensure a snug fit. The handle on top is sturdy and well-placed, allowing for quick retrieval if needed.

There's just one design issue that prevents this from being a perfect product: the placement of the leash hook. For some reason, the manufacturers decided to put it on the back of the jacket. This positioning causes my dog to walk backward when I try to lead her, or if I attempt to guide her forward, it pulls the jacket out of position.

It would have been much more practical to place the hook somewhere on the front of the jacket. This way, walking my dog while she's wearing the life jacket would be much more comfortable for both of us.

Despite this inconvenience, I still highly recommend this life jacket for its overall quality and effectiveness. If you can overlook the awkward leash hook placement or don't plan on using a leash with it often, you'll find this to be an excellent purchase for keeping your furry friend safe during water activities.

This product is very well made with high quality, durable materials. It is easy to adjust to fit. Our yellow lab loves the water but needs the added support & protection this life jacket/lift assist provides as she is nearly 11years old! 5 stars all the way!!! 🇨🇦

Je l’ai utilisé pour lui apprendre à nager et éventuellement aller en paddle board avec moi…. Je l’ai eue en juin 2023 donc le temps a l’eau a été restreint…. Il s’habitue tranquillement quand il ne touche plus le fond 👍. La grandeur est bonne pour sont 100 livres et il peut encore grandir 👍

Seems like it will work well for my 40 pound heeler. She can swim great but is also blind so I wanted added protection just in case. Only reason for the 4 stars is it arrived with a very thin plastic package around it that was ripped and got the jacket dirty. Would have been nice if it was shipped in better protective packaging. Luckily it went into a mailbox so it didn’t get wet as well.

Make sure you measure and even then get bigger. The chest straps barely make it around my Husky. Hoping when I take him on the water it will stretch a bit.

I got this life jacket during a lightening deal sale! Love the color and fit! Half the price of the one we used to own, but unfortunately he outgrew it. Even though the other jacket was great, I just didn't want to spend that kind of money this time around. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is because under the belly where the velcro connects, the edges of the velcro are coarse and irritating to the skin. Only time will tell if there will be skin breakdown or a wound. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it though.
Also, not sure how long that velcro will hold up, the neck collar cover velcro piece already came undone once and was reattached without an issue. I bought a large for my lab and this thing wouldn’t even fit her head if i tried. It’s not made for any type of large dog. I’m guessing large meant “large for small breeds”
